Winners of the Health and Behavior International Collaboration Award 2021

The 2021 competition highlighted the international reach of the award with applicants were from eight countries (Australia, Canada, India, Venezuela, China, Brazil, Tunisia, and USA) and mentors were from six different host countries.

The purpose of the HBIC award is to facilitate a mentorship collaboration with an international laboratory or research group under the guidance of an identified international mentor.

The quality of the 2021 applications was excellent, and applicants included individuals at various career stages including graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and early career faculty members. Two winners are from low- and middle-income countries (LMIC).
